ChicagoJobs.com Sponsors Bike Chicago 2008's Bike to Work Rally
Posted: May 22, 2008
CHICAGO, IL - ChicagoJobs.com, the premier local job board throughout the Chicagoland area, is pleased to announce the sponsorship of Mayor Daley's Bike to Work Rally, as part of Bike Chicago 2008.
"ChicagoJobs.com is very proud to be sponsoring Mayor Daley's Bike to Work Rally," says Mike Temkin, VP of Marketing at ChicagoJobs.com.
In the spirit of helping the City of Chicago to remain a top bicycle-friendly city and continue to encourage commuters to choose an alternative means of transportation to and from work, ChicagoJobs.com is raffling off a Trek mountain bike at Mayor Daley's Bike to Work Rally on Friday, June 13th.
"This new addition to the Bike Chicago 2008 program supports a concept which we strongly endorse; the use of Chicago's bike lanes and bike paths as a viable form of transportation to and from work," Temkin continued.
Bike Chicago offers more than 100 events between May and September throughout Chicago neighborhoods.
