Best Buy just announced its seasonal hiring plans and said it needs to hire for several sales jobs in Chicago, among other areas.
To ensure guidance for customers who want it, Best Buy is increasing the hours of its Blue Shirts, who receive more than 40 hours of dedicated training, on average.
Best Buy also is adding 15,000 seasonal employees to help provide the quality customer service expected by customers during a busy shopping season. Read the rest of this entry »

A recent increase in orders has led one Illinois company to pick up the hire and hire for service technician jobs in Chicago.
AAA Appliance Service Center, in the Chicago suburb of Park Ridge, has received such an overwhelming number of service requests, they have had to expand their team of repair service technicians.

Bradley-Morris has announced a series of events designed to help companies hire veterans for technical jobs in Chicago.
The largest military-focused recruiting firm in the U.S., announced fourth quarter dates for their ConferenceHire events. The military hiring events are for employers who need to make the most of their year-end recruiting budgets. At these events, Fortune 1000 companies interview JMOs (Junior Military Officers), technicians and diversity candidates with military backgrounds for positions in Management / Engineering, Technician / Supervision / Field Service and Consulting / Sales / Business Development.

A popular grocery market said this week it plans on hiring hundreds for cashier jobs in Chicago, among other positions.
Mariano’s grocery, which opened a store at 333 Benton Place in the Lakeshore East Development, is looking to fill 450 full time and part time positions.

Aon Corporation is reportedly recruiting for human resources jobs in Chicago.
The company has roughly 1,400 job openings related to benefits outsourcing, human capital consulting and actuary sciences.
The boost will bring lots more Illinois jobs.
Other companies are also hiring, according to job site CareerBuilder.com.
