Firm creates sales jobs in Chicago

A jet brokerage firm has created more sales jobs in Chicago via a new hire.

The Jet Collection has hired David Potter to sell aircraft.

According to his bio, Potter began his career as the Midwest Regional Sales Manager for Dassault Falcon Jet Corporation. In 1983, he joined Sabreliner Corporation as a member of its newly formed pre-owned business jet sales department.

There he specialized in the acquisition and sale of pre-owned jets in the United States, Mexico, South America and Europe.

“Dave is a great addition to our team — we’re excited to have him,” Jason Zilberbrand, Managing Partner, The Jet Collection. “His reputation, experience and South American contacts will help our business flourish drastically.”

Potter received his bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University. He is a commercial pilot and was honorably discharged from the United States Air Force where he served as a Forward Air Controller in Vietnam and then as a KC-135 aircraft commander.

Best Buy plans on hiring for sales jobs in Chicago

Best Buy just announced its seasonal hiring plans and said it needs to hire for several sales jobs in Chicago, among other areas.

To ensure guidance for customers who want it, Best Buy is increasing the hours of its Blue Shirts, who receive more than 40 hours of dedicated training, on average.

Best Buy also is adding 15,000 seasonal employees to help provide the quality customer service expected by customers during a busy shopping season. (more…)

Company hiring for sales jobs in Chicago

ValueClick, an online advertiser, said this week it is hiring in several markets, including for sales jobs in Chicago.

The company plans to increase its workforce by over 10 percent as part of its global organic growth strategy. Over 100 positions in the areas of sales, business development and technology are available in primary markets such as New York, San Francisco, business development jobs in Illinois, Boston and Los Angeles, as well as additional positions in secondary markets across North America.

Groupon hiring for business development jobs in Chicago

As the deal giant prepares for an IPO later this year, Groupon is hiring for several locations in the US, including for business development jobs in Chicago.

They are also recruiting for a substantial number of people in San Francisco, using unique recruitment ads to tell people what it’s like to work at Groupon.

The company just raised almost $950 million from a number of venture firms.

Sentry Hires for Sales Jobs in Chicago

Sentry Technology Firm is recruiting for sales jobs in Chicago and Dallas.

Sentry announced today the hiring of National Account Sales Representatives in Chicago and Dallas. These positions were left open due to budget constraints during the recession and have been filled recently as part of the company’s plan to grow revenue.
