Clintara hires for executive jobs in Chicago

Clintara, a company that works with pharmaceutical companies and clinical research organizations to optimize outcomes of Central Nervous System (CNS) clinical studies, said this week it has hired two new VP’s for executive jobs in Chicago.

Dr. Cara Pendergrass and Philip Rauh have been hired to be Clintara’s Vice President of Clinical Operations and Vice President, Client Services.

Pendergrass will manage a clinical team which includes more than 35 CNS clinicians in the Americas, MENA and APAC regions, while Rauh will focus on implementing the delivery of the Clintara platform to clients (including data collection, analysis and reporting).

“Philip’s extensive analytical experience with top-tier institutions in the financial services industry enhances our ability to collect, analyze and report on key data, in study,” said Bower. “His experience delivering long-term value for clients in a highly regulated industry will enable us to take a more proactive and quantitative approach to data collection, analyses and overall platform delivery for our clients and partners.”

Dr. Pendergrass will utilize her clinical and industry experience to enhance our internal clinical expertise and to leverage key clinical relationships with individual thought leaders specific to indications and institutional partners, like Massachusetts General Hospital, Keio Hospital in Tokyo, Cedars Sinai, Universidad Favaloro in Buenos Aires, and Klinikum der Universität München in Munich” said Clintara President, Colin Bower. “Cara will ensure that we effectively integrate these clinical assets with our new platform to continue to offer top clinical data analyses - mid study and real time - through an integrated and automated surveillance system designed to optimize clinical study results.”

Executive jobs in Chicago get a boost

According to a new index, executive jobs in Chicago are climbing at a healthy pace.

Managerial recruitment activity showed a gain of 9.4 points in August, following a downward slide over the past three months, according to the new CareerCast.com/JobSerf Employment Index. The August 2011 Index, which measures managerial hiring activity online, has risen to 107.6, a mere 5.3 points higher than it was a year ago in August 2010.

“The effects of the current economic uncertainty may not be fully understood until later in the year,” says Jay Martin, COO, JobSerf. “Though the gains in August are welcome, the current economic climate could delay actual hiring decisions.” (more…)

Office gets a key hire for Chicago management jobs

AgileThought announced this week it has secured a key hire for Chicago management jobs.

In conjunction with the recent opening of AgileThought, Inc.’s new downtown Chicago office in May, the national provider of custom software solutions for Fortune 500 companies announced Timothy Monson has been hired for the newly created position of Managing Director-Midwest. He will lead the expansion of client service initiatives and create strategies to cultivate new partnerships in the region. Before joining AgileThought, Monson previously held positions in Chicago as Chief Technology Officer for Navigant Consulting, Director of Global IT Operations for BearingPoint, Inc., and Global Director of Data Center and End-User Device Technology Operations for Arthur Andersen.
